Frantz Kruger

Posted in: Announcement

It’s just 32 days left until we kick off our event! We, at TEDxPalosaari, are thrilled to introduce our first speaker, Frantz Kruger! Born in South Africa, Frantz has represented both South Africa and Finland at various international athletic competitions. As a discus thrower, Frantz won the Gold at the Commonwealth Games 2002 in Manchester, and was a bronze medalist at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He currently holds the African record for best throw, as well as the Finnish best throw record. He now resides in Vaasa, Finland.

Being a professional sportsman Frantz has had to learn first hand about the importance of discipline and sacrifice. He will talk about this and more on Friday, the 16th of March.

Stay tuned for more updates!
